Absolute Erosion Control LLC is a family owned and operated business installing temporary and permanent erosion control products since 2006. Since our inception, we have built a solid reputation for getting the job done safely and in a timely manner. We focus on heavy civil construction projects with owners like the Florida Department of Transportation, port authorities, counties, municipalities, and water management districts to name a few. Our team knows and understands every project comes with its own set of challenges and complexities. When we show up to the site, safety and a solution-oriented mindset separates us from the rest. Absolute Erosion Control LLC is a certified Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE) firm that is eligible to perform work under the federal DBE Program. We are licensed and fully insured with Auto, General Liability, Umbrella, and Workers Compensation Insurance. Bonding is available when requested or required.
Absolute Erosion Control LLC is DBE certified to help contractors and consultants towards the attainment of DBE Goals for federally funded contracts.

Kevin Ortiz is a first generation American who was born and raised in Dunedin, Florida. Kevin graduated from The University of Central Florida where he studied Civil Engineering and Political Science. During college, Kevin worked for a national home developer in the Orlando area and saw the need for an erosion control contractor. That vision became, Absolute Erosion Control LLC.
17 years later Absolute Erosion Control LLC is servicing the entire state of Florida. Kevin continues to work both in the field and in the office. The projects that really take a lot of experience and expertise are Kevin's favorite types. "The challenge of creating and implementing new means and methods to successfully execute a project is one of my passions."
Kevin has created a healthy work culture which is vital to preserving a positive attitude in the workplace and on site. With a strong emphasis on family and health, Kevin treats everyone at Absolute Erosion Control as family. When Kevin is not working, you can find him spending time with his wife and three children boating or golf carting around town.
