TEMPORARY WETLAND CROSSINGS DONE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME.
For local, state, and federal roadway projects, temporary wetland crossings are designed and constructed to assure there is zero impact to the wetlands being crossed. These temporary wetland crossings are calculated to carry the loads of the cranes, trucks, and materials needed to construct permanent bridges. Once the construction of the new bridge is completed, the temporary wetland crossing is removed, and the wetlands are left with a zero footprint from the construction activities.
Absolute Erosion Control LLC was awarded and completed several contracts with wetland crossings throughout Pasco County in Florida. With a combination of geogrids and high-performance polypropylene geotextile fabrics, our temporary wetland crossings successfully allowed the contractor to build all their bridges with no delays due to reconstructing the temporary crossings or additional costs from environmental impacts.
